BUSINESS TAX PREPARATION
By working with NIA CPA, our clients enjoy the advantage of building personal relationships with a local tax professional who will understand your business.
We have laid out an overview of our process to help you with your business tax preparation:
Step 1: Gathering your accounting records
Clients that use Quickbooks: We can take your Quickbook files, review your financials statements to ensure your accounting entries are correct and use them to prepare your tax return.
Clients that use Quickbooks though it is a mess: We can take your Quickbook files and identify where you are going wrong. We will perform bank reconciliations to ensure all entries have been included in your Quickbooks file. Once we have your Quickbooks file in order we can use the numbers to prepare your tax return.
Clients that don't have an accounting system: We can use your bank statements and credit card statements and prepare your financial statements.
Step 2: Determining your deductions and preparing your tax return
We will sit down with you to review your financial statements, identify potential tax deductions that may have not been reflected in your accounting records, such as business use of your car and understand your business to identify tax incentives that you may be eligible for.
We will then prepare your tax return.
Step 3: Review the return with you
We will review the tax return that we have prepared with you to ensure you understand how your tax liability has been calculated
We will prepare a tax plan that identifies tax incentives the IRS is offering for the current year to help you minimize your tax liability for the next year
We are available throughout the year and can answer questions that you may have and update you on any tax changes that may impact you.
